Most of my career has been in academia (Harding University and Abilene Christian University) in which I have mentored senior engineering students in starting with an idea and developing a functioning prototype over a two semester sequence. I have also taught a large number of engineering courses, mostly in electrical engineering. I can advise on many technical subjects including hardware, software, algorithms and pattern recognition, microprocessors, and neural networks, along with many other topics. I also served three years in academia as the entrepreneurship director at Harding University. My undergraduate degree is in electrical engineering, MS in biomedical engineering, and PhD in bioengineering. I am a licensed professional engineer. I also have five years experience as a biomedical engineer at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. I am now consulting, doing research and development, and applying for SBIR grants to fund innovative product development.
