Morgan has served startups, small businesses, and nonprofits in Northwest Arkansas for over a decade through development, education, communications, and HR support. She formerly served as Northwest Arkansas Regional Director of FORGE Inc., Arkansas’s oldest and largest CDFI. Prior to that, she was the Director of Programs and Partnerships with Startup Junkie Foundation and specialized in HR consultation for startups. Morgan began her career in Human Resources as Director of People and Culture at B-Unlimited, a rapidly-growing private company in Fayetteville, AR. She also previously served as Director of Development and Promotion for an NWA nonprofit economic revitalization and historic preservation organization. Morgan is certified through the Society of Human Resources Management was a member of the Northwest Arkansas chapter board for several years. Morgan has an MA Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy from the University of Arkansas and is a former university composition instructor. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from John Brown University and an Associates degree from Johnson County Community College and has lived and worked in India, England, and the Middle East.
