Rebecca Todd

I have over 13 years of experience helping small businesses explore funding opportunities through the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) programs. With my assistance, Arkansas companies have been selected for 85 SBIR/STTR awards. I currently serve as a mentor for the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center’s NIH SBIR/STTR Lab2Launch Accelerator Program. I have over two years of experience with preparing federal grant applications on behalf of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) BioVentures and the Institute for Digital Health and Innovation, resulting in two competitively funded projects to date. I also played a lead role in preparing 12 funded Federal and State Technology applications to the Small Business Administration on behalf of the UA Little Rock Small Business and Technology Development Center. I am well-versed in complementary state-level funding options available through the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and have helped many companies and institutions successfully respond to these opportunities. This state funding helps to bridge the gap in time between SBIR/STTR Phase I and II and represents an avenue for funding preliminary research studies.
